Holiday Thoughts

This is the Reason for the Season!

We need to keep this in mind this Season. Everyone is busy, busy, busy, trying to find the perfect gift, getting prepared for Holiday Guests, cooking, cleaning, &  trying to organize and make the holiday special for everyone, and getting stressed out to the max.  Why do we do this to ourselves and our loved ones each holiday season???  Is it out of Love, Compassion, and Caring?  Is it out of Competition, Greed & Envy?  Who knows?  We can only do what we feel is right for ourselves and our loved ones.  I do know this, Life is much Too Short, to have a Bad Time. 

Take time to show each other that we care for one another.

Time is much more important than monetary goodies, when we are gone from this place do you really think someone is going to remember that wonderful, new, _____ they received on the Christmas of 2012?  But people will remember how you treated them day in and day out, on our good days and our bad days. Random acts of kindness will show others that we care.  Simple Things like....Opening a door for someone who has their hands full, a simple smile when someone looks stressed or sad, a kind and encouraging word when someone is struggling.  Simple things can mean so, so very much.

We would like to take this opportunity to Thank You and all your friends for all of the kindness you have shown us in this past year!

We wish you a Very Merry Christmas and much Health & Success in the coming Years ahead!

Penny Miller is a distinguished figure in the beauty industry, with a career spanning over four decades. Beginning her journey in 1982, Penny has excelled as a stylist, salon owner, instructor, and cosmetology school owner, leaving an indelible mark on the field through her dedication, expertise, and passion for education.

Penny's commitment to professional growth is evident in her extensive training with renowned industry leaders, including FSI, Sebastian, John Paul Mitchell Systems, Bain de Terre, Wella, Matrix, Mary Kay Beauty, SpaGirl, Image Cosmetics, and American Crew. This diverse educational background has equipped her with a deep understanding of beauty techniques and trends, which she has shared with countless students and professionals.

In 1988, Penny and her family settled in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma, where she began working at a small barber shop called Phase II. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to expand her presence, first to Valley Plaza and later to downtown Paul's Valley. In 2003, she founded the Penny Miller Cosmetology Academy, a cornerstone of her legacy, dedicated to empowering aspiring beauty professionals through comprehensive education and hands-on training.

Penny's love for learning is matched only by her passion for helping others achieve their goals in the beauty industry. Through her academy and mentorship, she has inspired and guided numerous individuals to succeed in their careers, fostering a community of skilled and confident professionals.
