Simple Tips on How to Effectively Moisturize your Skin.
- Add Water - Wash Skin, use a gentle soap and lots of water to plump up the skin and remove any foreign matter.
- Exfoliate - You don't need a harsh scrub- A simple sugar scrub will work wonders! To make a simple sugar scrub, use equal parts of basic sugar and oil. Yes, you can find these ingredients in your kitchen. Scrub your skin for just a few minutes and then rinse down the drain.
- Gently Towel Blot- Blot off excess oil, don't rub and remember to be gentle. Winter sensitive skin can sometimes be a little raw or chapped, so the key is to gently blot.
- Moisturize- This is the time to add lotion or creme. Massage over skin, this seals in the hydration from the water and puts a barrier over the skin to protect it from the harsh effects of winter cold. If you skin is sensitive try to select a neutral, fragrance free creme or lotion.
